Dear Designers + DIALECTIVE community,

My name is Grace Gordon, I am a Parsons fashion thesis student, and the public relations manager for the DIALECTIVE team.

I design from the heart. I create to heal. And I care about my work so very deeply.

‍

In all the hindrances that we have faced as design students, one thing that makes me proud is that I am constantly surrounded by people who share the same passion and deep care for their work. That is something so rare and so special.

‍

My hope when I started working on this project was to focus on community and visibility. Our first goal is a fashion show, but we are committed to creating a lasting collective of mindful designers. As the PR manager for DIALECTIVE, it is my aim to cultivate an honest relationship with our designers, collaborators, and audience by way of transparency. In that way, we will gain trust, acceptance, and forge a bond between design students approaching graduation and the fashion industry.
