A shared studio for NYC-based creatives in the heart of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn - off the Grand St (L).
DIALECTIVE Space is a 2,000 sq. ft. open-concept studio operating since June 1, 2024. We provide NYC creatives with access to industrial sewing machines, cutting tables, and shared work areas at affordable rates. As part of our 501(c)(3) mission, we offer multiple membership tiers - communal, semi-private, and private - to make professional workspace and equipment more accessible to emerging designers.

DIALECTIVE Space includes access to specialty industrial sewing machines, 4’x8’ cutting tables, dress forms, an industrial iron, a serger, and an overstitch. Members also have use of our showroom and installation space, communal work areas, kitchen and dining area, fitting space, and printer. Lockers are also available for a monthly fee.
COMMUNAL SPACE
Flexible access without a full-time studio.
50 hours/month of access to communal work areas and all industrial machines, including three Juki straight-stitches, a coverstitch, a serger, an industrial iron, two dress forms, and two 4’x8’ cutting tables. Communal amenities include the dining area, printer, fitting area, and optional lockers for an additional monthly fee.
$120/month (month-to-month)
