DIALECTIVE is a fashion collective celebrating an upcoming generation of radically distinct independent talent. Founded to recognize new ideologies and advancements, DIALECTIVE works in pursuit of creating and exploring narratives within our cultural phenomena, particularly surrounding the intersections of fashion, art, and society.
Founded to foster a supportive community in the fashion design industry, DIALECTIVE never underestimates the power of unity. Aimed to support independent, emerging designers based in all five boroughs of New York City, we’ve created a lasting network of designers who align with our core values.
DIALECTIVE RUNWAY SHOWCASE
As a 501c3 nonprofit, we created the first ever student-run fashion show show featuring 20 NYC graduate thesis collections, and every year a new incoming class will lead the next showcase. The third annual DIALECTIVE Runway Showcase will take place May 2025.
A shared studio space for emerging designers in East Williamsburg, operational since June 1, 2024. Spanning over 2,000 sq ft of open air, our space is equipped with specialty industrial machines and cutting tables. Schedule a tour here.
A showroom existing in DIALECTIVE Space featuring Special Curations for NYFW month and additional months. Intended to be a space to view emerging designer work that would otherwise be in a closet.
