Dear DIALECTIVE Community,

I’m Desmond, the show coordinator of DIALECTIVE. I was born and raised in Qingdao, China, then moved to the United States in 2014. My personal label “run tan du” debuted during Shanghai Fashion Week in 2020 with its SS21 collection.

‍

I am strongly inspired by Chinese culture and my personal interests in History and Archeology. Myself and my works are also dedicated to anti-hate and world peace.

‍

As the show coordinator of DIALECTIVE, my goal and mission is to set up a thorough and fantastic showcase. With the experience of my previous runway/showroom during NYFW and Shanghai FW, I am confident in my ability to present a professional runway show for my fellow senior students. I will be working closely with photographers, videographers, directors, models, makeup artists, stylists, etc, in order to put out a great show.

I am extremely excited and grateful for the participation and support from each and every one of you. I cannot wait to see you in May with an absolutely amazing show. It’s been an honor to work on this project to uplift our community.
